Licensed Psychotherapy · Santa Fe, New Mexico
Healing begins with a single, honest conversation. I offer a safe, grounded space to explore what's weighing on you — without judgment, without rushing.
About
I'm Cohen Jacob Daniel, a licensed professional clinical counselor and marriage and family therapist based in Santa Fe. I hold a Master's degree and bring a deep commitment to supporting adults navigating the complexities of modern life.
My practice is rooted in the belief that every person carries the capacity for growth and healing — sometimes all it takes is a steady, attuned presence to help uncover it. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
I offer both in-person sessions at my Santa Fe office and telehealth appointments, meeting you where you are — literally and emotionally.
Services
Chronic worry, panic, and the exhausting weight of living in a constant state of alarm. Together, we'll find what's beneath the surface and build lasting tools for calm.
When the world feels gray and motivation disappears. Therapy offers a path back to yourself — not through forced positivity, but through understanding and compassionate exploration.
Past experiences don't have to define your present. I work with trauma survivors to process, integrate, and reclaim a sense of safety and agency in their lives.
Difficult dynamics, patterns that repeat, or the grief of a relationship ending. Whether you're navigating partnership challenges or rebuilding after loss, you deserve support.
Career changes, grief, identity shifts, or the quiet crisis of "is this all there is?" Major transitions demand more than advice — they demand a witness and a guide.
Sessions from the comfort of your home via secure video. Same depth of care, same commitment to your healing — just delivered through a screen instead of my office.
Approach
There is no single path to healing, and I don't believe there should be. My work draws from several evidence-based frameworks — including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and somatic approaches — tailored to what you need, not what's easiest for me.
I take the time to understand your story before proposing any direction. Some people need practical tools for immediate relief; others are ready to explore deeper patterns. Both are valid. Both are welcome here.
The therapeutic relationship itself is the foundation. Trust, curiosity, and genuine care aren't just nice additions — they're the conditions under which real change happens.
